Royal Marines Visit

On the 3rd of November, two members of the Royal Marines came into college and took us for a fitness session and we watched a video that gave us a bit of an insight into the Royal Marines.

The video showed us what makes the Royal Marines so unique. They are the most unique force because they specialise in water, ground and air units. We also found out what sort of equipment and weapons they use in certain situations. This was a really useful visit from the Royal Marines as it gives us a better insight from people who are actually in the force and it gives us more options for when we leave college if it interests us.

Our fitness session was enjoyable. I thought it was going to be a lot harder, but they made it quite fun and competitive, then we finished off with a game of dodgeball!

Overall it was a good experience to learn a bit about the Royal Marines and it opens up an extra option for when I leave college if I take an interest in the force.
